Valentine's Day on a Sunday, Good or Bad?

This Year Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday, many of our customers are wondering what to expect, will sales be down or up?  Red Kennicott gave these thoughts on a Sunday Valentine’s Day…  The consensus of what I have heard and read is that Sunday should be at least as good as a Saturday (last year) for florists. One advantage is that the overnight shippers (FedExp-Proflowers, etc) cannot deliver on Sunday.Weekdays have historically been at least 10-20% better than weekends for florists.  I have heard that many florists consider Wednesday or Thursday the best day for Valentines.  There are many variables, and a big one is how aggressive the individual florist is in going after more business.
