Stunning Callicarpa

These metallic purple berries are unbelievable! 
My photograph doesn't do them justice!

Also known as Beautyberry, Callicarpa is a native shrub from the southwest.  The berry laden stems are interesting all on their own but what a highlight for an design!

They are definitely called beautyberry for a reason...they are beautiful!

Thanks Beth Tarrant from Anna Held Florist (www.annaheldflorist.com)  for sending us this picture of our Chilean French Tulips in use.  She used them in her table designs for a wedding last week.  Wow, the tulips look great!

French Tulips From Chile have just started arriving!  When I asked Gary Gardiner, our Chicago Flower Buyer, what makes these tulips special, he said "Just say French Tulips,  it says it all!"  And they are gorgeous, nice strong stem and color.  The growing season is just starting in the southern hemisphere so we will be having lots of new flowers in the upcoming weeks.  Besides tulips, we have in stock Chilean Ranunculus and next week, Peonies from Chile.
